I replaced that splint with individual all-ceramic crowns.

This patient was dissatisfied with the appearance of her teeth after two left front teeth had been restored connected to dental implants.

I prepared a diagnostic cast of her teeth, modifying with wax what I considered to be missing restorative material. At the next visit I prepared the existing ceramic restorations of 4 front teeth for bonding. Using the silicone rubber template of the corrected diagnostic cast, I pressed temporary veneers to simulate the recommended restorative result.

Mid twenties patient missing many teeth due to an inherited trait. The “before" image shows a few natural teeth and dental implants placed earlier all restored with crowns. The “after”image are the new crowns on the maxillary arch (upper jaw) and solid zirconia prosthesis supported by four mandibular arch (lower jaw) implants that replace a conventional complete denture.

This patient was missing a lower front tooth for which the jaw was not suitable for a dental implant. The custom ceramic tooth is bonded to the enamel of the two adjacent teeth
